 ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY – ARO GUNTUR FROM 16 MAY 2021 TO 30 MAY 2021 
AT BHRAMANANDA REDDY (B R) STADIUM, GUNTUR (ANDHRA PRADESH)

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS VERY CAREFULLY

Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be 

conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Guntur from 16 May 2021 to 30 May 2021 at Bhramananda 

Reddy (B R) Stadium, Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from 

seven districts of Andhra Pradesh i.e. Guntur, Prakasam, Kurnool, Anantapur, Cuddapah, Nellore, 

& Chittoor in Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing 

Assistant Veterinary, Soldier Clerk & Store Keeper Technical, and Soldier Tradesman 

categories. Candidates will have to apply online only, on the official web site 

www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from17 Mar 2021 to 30 Apr 2021. Admit cards will be issued online 

after 01 May 2021. Candidates are requested to bring their admit card, application & 

documents mentioned in the admit card at the rally site. Date and time of reporting at rally site 

will be mentioned on admit card. Print out of admit card can be taken after 01 May 2021 from 

www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates are advised to carry their Admit Card and documents in 

water proof transparent document sleeves / sheet protection to guard against damage due to 

inclement weather.

➡️Recruitment Programme. Date and time for Screening of Documents, Physical Fitness 

Test and Physical Measurement Test will be mentioned on the Admit Card.

➡️Medical Exam of Candidates. Primary medical examination will be carried out with 

effect from 17 May 2021 onwards at the Rally Site.

➡️Sports Person. 

(a) Sports certificates should be with registration number and from authorized Sports 

Federation. The Sports certificates issued by authorized Sports Federations are valid for 

three years from the issue date as on first day of the recruitment rally, for which the candidate 

is screened. 

(b) For sports under which relaxation in physical standards is admissible, attention is 

invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website. 

(c) Dispensation in Physical Standard. For sports person the relaxation in 

physical standards is admissible, attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website.

CANDIDATES WILL REPORT TO BHRAMANANDA REDDY (B R) STADIUM, GUNTUR, 

ANDHRA PRADESH AT 0030 HRS ON THE SCHEDULED DATE AND TIME AS PER THE 

PROGRAMME GIVEN IN THEIR ADMIT CARD AND CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO 

REPORT WITH CLEAN SHAVEN FACE.

Other Conditions. 

(a) The candidates should be medically fit to join Indian Army at the time of Rally. The 

Medical Standards have been uploaded on the website. 

(b) Tatoo/Engraving. Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of 

forearm i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) 

side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and 

candidate will be barred from further selection. Tribals with tattoo marks on the face or body 

as per existing custom and traditions will be permitted on a case to case basis. The guidelines 

on dealing with such cases are as under:- 

(i) Candidates belonging to Tribal communities/from tribal areas, as declared by the 

Govt of India scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Orders Act/Lists (amended and 

modified from time to time) are permitted to have permanent body tattoos on any part of 

the body, as per existing customs and traditions of the said tribe to which a candidate 

belongs. Such candidates will only be permitted on producing the following two 

certificates:- 

(aa) Self certification certificate as per Appendix ‘A’ to be signed by the candidate. 

(ab) Certificate of belonging to a tribal community and permissibility of permanent 

body Tattoo(s) as per format at Appendix ‘B’ to be signed by either DC/DM or SDM 

of the District/Tehsil where the tribe of the candidate is presently settled (Name and 

designation of the concerned official must be clearly mentioned) or signed by 

Chairman/Secretary or any other senior member of the Tribe (Name, designation if 

any and address of the concerned member will be clearly mentioned).

Apply for Only One Category. A candidate can only apply for one category/trade.
